NABA Invited to participate in CAMSC’s
first across the border celebration…
NATIONAL ABORIGINAL DAY
CANADA
(submitted by Orrin Benn, President CAMSC)
June 21st is celebrated as National
Aboriginal day in Canada; and so it was only fitting
that Jackie Gant, National Executive Director of
the Native American Business Alliance, should visit
Toronto to meet with Orrin Benn, President of CAMSC
(Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council),
and members of the Wabigoon Lake Ojibway First Nation
from Dryden, Ontario Canada to discuss reciprocal
membership and cooperation between the two organizations.
Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation is a certified CAMSC
member. The band produces a wild rice apricot almond
bar for which they are seeking distribution among
major retailers in the United States.
